Premium Tungsten Split Shot

Upgrade your finesse presentations with premium tungsten split shot sinkers in 1/32 oz and 1/16 oz. Tungsten’s density gives you a smaller profile, faster sink rate, and sharper bottom feel than lead—perfect for creeks, rivers, and lakes when chasing trout, panfish, and ultralight targets. These are lead-free and built for precision.

Why tungsten split shot

Ultra-dense tungsten keeps the weight tiny and stealthy while still getting down fast. That means better drifts, better depth control, and better bite detection—especially in clear water.

Lead-free Smaller profile Faster sink Sharper bottom feel
Important — do not crimp

These do not function like traditional lead split shot. They do not crimp, pinch, or open up. Trying to pry or squeeze them open will break the sinker. Instead, use the simple Loop-Rig Slot shown below.

Loop-rig slot (how it works)
Step 1
Place your line into the sinker’s slot (across the internal holder).
Step 2
Wrap the line around the outside and feed it back into the slot a second time.
Step 3
Pull snug to lock. For extra hold, repeat the wrap-and-insert step once more.
Tip
Works great with mono/fluoro; for braid, use a short leader.

Weights & what they’re for
1/32 oz (≈0.89 g) — micro drifts, shallow creeks 1/16 oz (≈1.77 g) — deeper runs, faster current

Best uses
Split-shot rigs • Tightline drifts • Micro bottom contact • Precise depth control
Use notes
Do not crimp with pliers, bite, or attempt to open—they will break. Secure by looping the line into the slot as described above.
